Although Prince William’s 30th birthday takes place in the middle of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Duchess is reportedly planning to convert a room within one of the royal residences into a private, friends-only space that boasts a nightclub-type of feeling.
Kate is working on this project with Guy Pelly, the same friend Prince William was hanging out with when William went clubbing without Kate a few weeks ago.
The Duchess Catherine is reportedly also creating a scrapbook of their relationship, with photos of vacations that they’ve been on, and special keepsakes and momentos. She’s also creating an iPod playlist of songs with special meaning for the couple.
Prince William gave Kate a puppy for her birthday.
