Prince William confessed his fear … of the kiss cam!
The Prince says he was “absolutely dreading” the ideas of being caught with his wife, Kate Middleton, on the kiss cam at the London Olympics. He said it would have been very “embarrassing.”
The “kiss cam” is a camera used in sports arenas that spotlight couples and project their images on the center screen of the arena. The crowd then cheers for (pressures) the couple to kiss, on camera, as they’re being broadcast live throughout the arena.
Celebrities are often spotlighted by kiss cams. Recently President Obama and Michelle were pressured to kiss on the kiss cam. Justin Timberlake and fiancee Jessica Biel have also been highlighted by the kiss cam.
“I was absolutely dreading they (the camera operators) were going to come and show myself and my wife,” Prince William said. Fortunately, Will and Kate escaped the Olympics, kiss-cam free.
